FAITH - soul poetry

Updated: Sep 28

Give me patience, Lord,” you ask

He gives you a chance to learn patience

You do not see

“God does not listen to me,” you say

“Give me courage, Lord,” you ask

Other chances to make you overcome fear

You do not see

“God does not love me,” you say

“Give me love, O! God,”- you ask

You get a chance to work on the relationship

You do not see

“God has abandoned me,” you say

“Give me health, O! Lord,” you ask

He sends sickness so that you can learn humility

You complain

“God does not exist,” you declare

“Punish my brother, O! Lord,”

He tells you to talk to learn tolerance

You do not listen

“God has forgotten me,” you say

You want everything given on a tray

But He gives lessons, demands understanding, trust

You are angry

“God has abandoned me,” you say

You doubt...you constantly want more and more

You don't see that He gives what you need

You don't trust

“God doesn't listen to me,” you say
