Him
When into this world I arrived
The joy of a child I had
Everything I was surprised with
And discovery of this world lay ahead
Curiosity of a child is great
A raindrop enchants
A sparrow’s twitter is heard
All nature tempts
Many colors the world has
There are different teachers
There are boa constrictors
And there are also friends
But an adult I became
Child’s world was gone
Another costume I got
And into a fool’s dream went on
Masks my face covered
Varied they were
In the heart still larger lumps
And dark thoughts bred
After matter I raced
Drove my heart far away
In my head I stayed
I suffered, I did not see
Love was a fantasy
Love in dreams came
Love with beauty appeared
Love the heart drowned
Forgive I could not
Neither wanted to forget
I calculated everything
And love rejected was
For long in the nightmare I was stuck
Messing up I was
Defended myself from love
Finally woke up
My heart you opened
Fairy tales you told
A child’s world you painted
Who I am reminded
Into your eyes I looked
In your eyes I reflected
And then I became sad
And a tear shed
I shed tears
Mirror of Truth my eyes saw
Everything they were scared of
And everything they rejected
And the Truth I saw
How much I lost
What a fool I was
What a fool's dream I dreamed
Time to chase demons away
To cover fear’s entrance
To bow to love
It is time to ring in love
