DARKNESS - soul poetry

Updated: Sep 28, 2024

Who took your music

Who took away your dreams

Who put out a beautiful smile

Who? Who? Who?

Who turned heaven into hell

Who extinguished your sun

Who sowed darkness in the soul

Who? Who? Who?

Who took away my music

Who destroyed my dreams

Who took away my smile

Nobody...I myself

I did it myself

I did not want to listen to my heart

I was a robot in my head

I lost

Lord sent me an Angel

But I told her to go away

I got scared of love

I ran away

I ran after an illusion

I became my own shadow

My lonely soul weeps

I shed tears

I lost my music

My mistakes I already understood

Longing devours my heart

Kills

The soul is pulled to light

The Angel in the heart still dwells

Ego fears creates

Encroaches

Give me Oh Lord strength

Help to find the music

Give back the Angel...now

I will listen
