PRISONER - Love Poetry

Music, your voice, it's you girl
My drug not to let go
The further I run and want to forget
The stronger this thread of enslavement
These unwanted thoughts, I daydream
I pine, I remember, I desire so much
For you to be again...close to me...with me...next to me
You cast a spell...I’m breathless...I’m running
Someone walks around the house, someone says something
Serves dinner, cleans, irons
I do not hear, I do not see, I think, I dream
I have what I chose, what I regret
In my ears I still hear your joyful laughter
After our wonderful moments of elation
I want you to come back, to give a chance
I want...I desire your enslavement
Stupid logic wanted control
Ego got scared of love
I let you go, girl
I betrayed love, the heart chickened out
Like a prisoner in a closed cage of memories
Drug addict who wants completion
The head goes crazy and so do I
Come back, forgive, stay, be, free me from prison
