I WANT TO GO BACK - soul poetry

There are times when I want to leave

I want to wake up from this dream

Go back to where I came from

There are times when I've had enough

A strange world of a strange dream

Crooked mirror

Masks of pain, costumes of fear

Power’s smiles and control

It's a masquerade

People are performing in a strange theater

They call this fear - love

It's propaganda

They want to sleep and they want to dream this dream of fear

They call this dream - a reality

And I want to go back

The star children from the stars came here

And somewhere out there in these stars is my home

I want to go back there
